Missing Dog in Agra – Help This Family Find Their Beloved Dog (₹10,000 Reward)

Missing Dog in Agra

A Gurugram couple, Dipayan and Kasturi Ghosh, are offering a ₹10,000 reward to anyone who can help them locate their beloved pet greyhound, missing in Agra, since early November. The dog, a female greyhound they’ve raised for ten years, went missing during their stay at a pet-friendly hotel, and the couple is desperately appealing to Agra locals for assistance.

The incident occurred on November 3, during a brief trip to Fatehpur Sikri. Dipayan and Kastori, who were traveling with their two dogs, entrusted the pets to the hotel’s pet-sitting service. “Around 9:30 a.m., we received a call from the hotel staff saying that one of our dogs had escaped and was seen running toward the city,” Dipayan shared. Surveillance footage from the hotel’s CCTV system later confirmed the greyhound’s escape.

Since the incident, Dipayan and Kastori have dedicated themselves to an exhaustive search around Agra. They’ve widely circulated the dog’s photo and visited numerous public places, hoping for leads. Kastori has even taken to holding up placards with the dog’s picture, asking local residents if they’ve seen their cherished pet. “One rickshaw driver mentioned spotting the greyhound near the Taj Mahal metro station on Tuesday,” Dipayan reported, adding that the greyhound has been a constant companion to them throughout the past decade.

“Taking our dogs everywhere is part of our life, but leaving them at the hotel that day was my worst decision,” Dipayan expressed, filled with regret.

The Ghoshs are asking anyone who may have seen the greyhound or has information on her whereabouts to reach out to them at 7838899124 or report to the Taj Suraksha police station. They hope the reward will encourage locals to keep an eye out and help reunite them with their much-loved pet.

For Dipayan and Kastori, the greyhound is more than just a pet—she is a family member. As they continue their search, they remain hopeful that with the community’s help, they’ll soon bring her safely home.
